National Sample Survey
For the purpose of determining policy related to different schemes of the Central Government, a team of officers / staff is working under this branch to collect data at the grassroots level, which collects data on different subject / sub-topics each year.
MP Local Area Development Scheme / MLA Local Area Development Scheme
For the creation of permanent community assets on local Area needs in their constituencies, The MPs / MLAs recommends the developmental works The MPs under MPLADS get Rs. 5 crore per annum and under MLALADS Rs.1 crore (75 lakh for MLA and 25 lakh for minister-in-charge of the District). District Collector is the Competent authority for acceptance.
Vital Statistics
Evaluation of the growth or decrease in the population in planning for development of any country or state is very important. For this, the correct data should be available to the infant and the deceased persons, for this purpose vital branch of statistics preserves the registrations of births and deaths, supervision and scrutinize the registrars from time to time.
District Statistical Mechanism
The latest data of various departments such as forest, agriculture, fishery, horticulture, industry etc., working at the district level, is collected and sent to the state government. Which is used to determine the State gross domestic product and District gross domestic product.
Publications
Publication of the District Statistical Manual and publication of the Janpadiy Samajarthik Samank Vivaranika and publication of the District Annual Plan, which are useful publications for the Statistics researchers.
