PANCHAYAT ENTERPRISE SUITE

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) has undertaken e-Panchayat Mission Mode Project(e-Panchayat MMP) with a view to introduce and strengthen e-Governance in Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) across the country and build associated capacities of the PRIs for effective adoption of the e-Governance initiative. Under this project, Panchayat Enterprise Suite (PES) has been conceptualised which comprises 11 Core Common applications. At present, Panchayat Enterprise Suite has been deployed/operational with 10 Core Common Applications and GIS layer module is under conceptualisation. The operational modules includes LGD(Local Government Directory), Area Profiler(Socio-economic & general details), PlanPlus(to strengthen Decentralised & Participatory Planning), PriaSoft(Panchayat Accounting), ActionSoft(Works/scehme implementation Monitoring System), NAD(National Asset Directory), Service Plus(To facilitate Service Delivery), Social Audit, Training and National Panchayat Portal(Dynamic Website of Panchayats)

In the year 2017-18, the Chief Minister of the State, Dr Raman Singh, visited the village Gaurkhera Gram Panchayat in Gorela block of Bilaspur district on 06.04.2017, during the Lok SURAZ campaign, where he talked to the rural people. He wanted to know about the development of the village. During interaction with the villagers, Mrs. Urmila, husband resident of the village, Mr. Sukalal Gram Panchayat, Thanjdand gave honor to the Chief Minister to give the fruits of Tendu to the person, The Chief Minister accepted this with great ease and took delight and approved dug well for 12 people, including Mrs. Urmila, from the MGNREGA.
At present, Mrs. Urmila is getting good yield of the crop by irrigating the fields, along with the cultivation of tomato, cauliflower, cabbage, eggplant and beans etc., on nearly 30 decimal land near the dug well. Financial support is also being received from which Mrs. Urmila is very excited. Presently, due to the construction of the dug well in the farm of Mrs. Urmila, adequate irrigation facility has been available, which is making good production of their crop. Ground level water is also increasing.

PRADHAN MANTRI AWAS YOJANA – GRAMIN

PMAY-G aims at providing a pucca house, with basic amenities, to all houseless householder and those households living in kutcha and dilapidated house, by 2022. The immediate the objective is to cover 1.00 crore household living in kutcha house/dilapidated house in three years from 2016-17 to 2018- 19.The minimum size of the house has been increased to 25 sq.mt (from20sq.mt) with a hygienic cooking space. The unit assistance has been increased from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 1.20 lakh in plain and from Rs75,000 to Rs 1.30 lakh in hilly states, difficult areas and IAP district. The beneficiary is entitled to 90.95 person day of unskilled labour from MGNREGS. The assistance for construction of toilet shall be leveraged though convergence with SBM-G, MGNREGS or any other dedicated the source of funding. Convergence for piped drinking water, electricity connection, LPG gas connection etc. different Government programmers are also to be attempted.
